18th Veldener New Year's Swim – Refreshingly into the New Year

With a brave leap into the Wörthersee, Velden will once again spectacularly welcome the New Year in 2027! The 18th Veldener New Year's Swim at Seestrand Villa Bulfon is a unique winter event for participants, spectators, and New Year's tradition enthusiasts.

On January 1st at 12:00 PM, a maximum of 100 swimmers will plunge into the cold water for a joint wave start – either on a long or short swimming course. Starting from 10:30 AM, registration, a show program featuring Joschi Peharz, the festive New Year's blessing, and a press reception will create a festive atmosphere leading up to the event.

Registration is available online until December 28th at www.s-a-w.at or on-site on the event day.

A s spectacular New Year's event at Wörthersee, uniting courage, community, and pure joy of life – a highlight for both guests and locals alike.
