"With sharp pen, satirical wit, and necessary seriousness, Savić takes us on a journey through the contradictions of the modern world. His poetry, always personal, is refreshingly political: sharpening our ears to the false melodies of our time, and opening our eyes to the possibility of true humanity. What humans need, the author states, is tender interaction, on many levels.

His verses swing between harsh criticism and delicate melancholy. His poems, anachronistic as they are, penetrate the deeper layers of human experience and give a powerful voice to the search for truth and meaning. Thus, one can at least momentarily flee from the omnipresent noise of the present, the tinnitus of that high culture filled with low motives, through literature.

As part of a public reading at the Villa For Forest on September 13, 2025, Savić will also present some of his unpublished political and other poems and engage in dialogue with the audience. A colorful, polemic-fun evening is to be expected!"
