Klagenfurt’s Benedictine Market in downtown Klagenfurt offers everything your heart could possibly desire. What a wonderful hustle and bustle there is in front of the market stands when, on Thursday and Saturday between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., farmers from across Carinthia as well as neighboring Friuli in Italy and Slovenia, offer their products (On public holidays, the market moves one day forward). Aside from delicious foods and fresh grocery items, at the market itself as well as in the neighboring streets you will come across ample opportunities to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, a small snack and a good chat.

You can also go shopping in both halls of the Benedictine Market daily from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. (Wednesday until 1:45 p.m.).

On public holidays the market stays closed
