Podiumsdiskussion zu Erinnerungskultur und gesellschaftlicher Verantwortung

Starting from the installation Wachhäuschen, the Lendhauer association invites you to a panel discussion on culture of remembrance, historical reappraisal, and its significance for the present.
At the center of the discussion is the question of how societies deal with the experiences of the past and what lessons can be drawn from them for current social and political challenges.
The installation by Hannes Zebedin addresses historical experiences of the Alpine-Adriatic region and understands remembrance not as a completed retrospective but as an ongoing societal process. Building on this, the participants discuss how to cope with historical traumas, the responsibility of public memory, and the role of art and culture in engaging with history. The event aims to bring together different perspectives and create a space for exchange about the significance of the past, present, and future.
