Veldener Weekly Market at Lake Wörthersee

The Veldener Weekly Market invites every Thursday from 08:00 to 12:00 to shop locally directly in Velden at Lake Wörthersee. Visitors can expect a diverse range of fresh, seasonal products from local producers as well as from the Alpine-Adriatic region.

From harvest-fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, Carinthian noodles, meat and fish specialties to cheese, honey, pastries, oils, juices, wine, and beer – the market stands for quality, regionality, and enjoyment.

The weekly market takes place year-round (except for January) and is a popular meeting point for locals and guests who value sustainable, local shopping and a genuine market atmosphere.
