Around the Lindwurm transforms the center of Klagenfurt into one of the most diverse Christmas markets in Carinthia. In the middle of the historical setting, visitors experience a market that connects tradition with vibrant diversity.

Over 50 lovingly decorated huts offer artistically crafted products from all over Austria – from hand-carved nativity figures to mouth-blown Christmas ornaments to hand-knit hats, regional handicrafts, and sweet specialties.
Those still on the hunt for a special Christmas gift will definitely find it here.

Between the stalls, Klagenfurt hostel owners and delicacies from the Alpine-Adriatic region invite you to linger: with warming drinks, traditional treats, and regional specialties.

Whether after a shopping spree or as a meeting point with friends after work – the Christkindlmarkt at Neuer Platz has been a fixed part of the Advent season in Klagenfurt for decades.
