On April 30, 2026 the Neue Platz in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee will become a stage for true taste from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM: The first Slow Food Kärnten Heurige celebrates its premiere – as part of the Velovista Bike Event.

We look forward to a culinary journey through Carinthia:
Regional winemakers, breweries, producers, and restaurateurs invite you to taste, discover, and enjoy. Authentic products, lived regionality, and the Slow Food philosophy “good, clean, fair” are at the center of attention.

Whether you're cycling or looking for special moments of enjoyment – here, sporting activity merges with Alpine-Adriatic cuisine.

The Neue Platz in the heart of the Renaissance old town will be a meeting point for delightful moments.


The organizers are the Tourist Region Klagenfurt am Wörthersee and the Slow Food Travel Marketplace Middle Carinthia, with the kind support of Hirter Brewery.
